Fiddler’s Green have unveiled the line-up for the 16th Shamrock Castle, their own Celtic and new folk festival in the grounds of Schloss Jägersburg in Franconia’s Fränkische Schweiz, on July 9 and 10, 2027. The Erlangen speedfolk lifers headline, with London folk-punk shouters Skinny Lister right behind them.

New England Scene Update: Boston Music Awards Nods for the Murphys, Kettle Burners Hit the Slopes
The Boston Music Awards shortlist landed last Friday, and the Hub’s Celtic punk and Irish rock lot are all over it. Public voting is open through November 16 at bostonmusicawards.com, with the winners crowned at Big Night Live on December 16. Here’s your fortnightly New England round-up. Pete Holidai says The Radiators From Space’s special-guest slot with Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter at Dublin’s 3Arena on Monday, December 7, will be the last time he and Steve Rapid ever perform under the name.
